Guwahati CJM court instructs Kolkata cops to arrest Garga Chatterjee

In major developments, a Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Guwahati has instructed Kolkata police to arrest Trinamool Congress stooge Garga Chatterjee on Wednesday.

Following Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal's  orders, a group of three policemen went to Kolkata to arrest Chatterjee, however, was unsuccessful in doing so due to the protests to safeguard Chatterjee and non- cooperation of the West Bengal police.

Later, the Kolkata police followed the CJM's order.

Chatterjee will be arrested in connection to the derogatory remarks he had made against the founder of the Ahom Kindom Chaolung Sukaphaa by calling him a 'Chinese Invader'.
