The Vice-canceller of GU, Prof Pratap Jyoti Handique added, "As soon as it is possible, we are taking a step to protect the front page of the GU Website ".
Moreover, taking the point of IDOL scam he told, the director of IDOL has already suspended and an inquiry committee also had also formed.
Prof Pratap Jyoti Handique told, GU had already submitted the report regarding the Re-Engagement system, where the age limit of the retirement of an official has been fixed of 60 years and after retirement, the person would get the facility of pension too. If there is anyone who has been working in the University after 60 years of his age, he would be get retired soon.
Moreover, how many professors of the University have beenworking in the Compensation Ground, their jobs will get regularised. The procedureis now in process.
The GU VC said, he will make a resolution in this regard bydiscussing the whole matter with the honorable Governor of Assam.
