Food Safety Department (FSD) has conducted a raid at Fancy Bazar.
The department has seized 40 cartons of mangoes injected with carbide, during the raid.
The department aims at preventing the use of chemicals on fruits.
FSD has destroyed all the mangoes which were ripened through the use of carbide.
