The historic Doul Govindo temple will remain closed again for visitors from July 1 to July 31 due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. The temple authorities have taken their own decision to close the temple amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Although the temple will be closed for pilgrims, the rituals will be performed by the priests of the temple inside the premises.
The temple was opened for visitors on June 8 but the authorities have decided to close it again in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.
