Doctor attacked by locals in Dhekiajuli

During the protest for proper safety to the doctors in Assam along with the country, one more doctor, identified as Kamal Jal has been brutally attacked along with his family, by a group of people in Dhekiajuli on Tuesday night.

Tensed situation prevails in the region following the attack on the doctor. Reportedly the incident has taken place when Dr. Jal was returning home from Dashera.

It may be stated that, in this attack, one of his fingers has broken and he got critically injured in his hand and back.
