Prime Minister Narendra Modi finds himself surrounded by another threat to life as an email received in Delhi provides shocking details of how one plans to kill the PM.
Commissioner of Delhi police Amulya Patnaik on Saturday received an email on his mail id that threatened to kill Modi, which is a serious issue of national security now.
The mail, sent by an anonymous user, has threatened to kill the PM in November of this year, Patnaik revealed. The PM has many commitments in November including a number mass gathering across the country where his will be addressing the people.
Following this, the Delhi police carried out an investigation which led to another shocking revelation. The server from which the mail was sent has been traced to Assam.
Earlier in June this year, PM Modi received another death threat from alleged naxals through a letter. That time too, Assam's name came to the forefront as a person connected to the naxals was linked with the State.
The Delhi police have now alerted all other major security organisations along with secret security agencies to take up the issue and search for more intel.
