Just a few days after 19 ACS-APS Officers had been arrested in context of the APSC Cash for Job scam; Dibrugarh Police has arrested Darrang district's BJP Vice President Sailen Sharma Baruah and real estate businessman Surajit Choudhury late night on Sunday.

Husband of already arrested ACS Pallavi Sharma Choudhury, Surajit Choudhury and Pallavis' legal advisor Sailen Sharma Baruah will be brought to the Special Court on Monday.

Police has alleged Choudhury and Sharma of trying to manipulate the court for Pallavi's bail and also attempting to obstruct further probe into the APSC scam.

Earlier on Sunday, Dibrugarh Police had arrested DSP Kavita Das, who had been absconding for last nine days, from Duliajan for her alleged involvement in the scam.
