In a tragic incident, a boat carrying more than 50 passengers capsized at the Jiabharali river in Jamugurihat. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon.
Thoughthe SDRF and locals have initiated the rescue process immediately after theincident, they could not locate two passengers who are still missing.
The boat was carrying the passengers from Makua ghat in Jamugurihat to Panch-mile in Tezpur.
However,the rescue operation is still on by the SDRF team.
