BJP leader open fires in Naharkatia

In an unusual incident, a BJP leader open fired in Naharkatia which sparked a chaotic situation in the area.

Theincident occurred in front of the Naharkatia Nagar Samiti Office which createda heated atmosphere at the space.

It hasbeen alleged that the shot was fired against the Nagar Samiti Chairperson MukutRajkonwar.

However,the reason behind the firing is yet unknown.

It maybe noted that the role of the Naharkatia police pertaining to the incident issuspicious.
