Basistha PS Turns into COVID-19 Hotspot

Another police personnel of Basistha police station has been infected with the coronavirus. The officer-in-charge of the police station Nabajit Das has been tested positive for COVID-19. His wife and daughter have also been infected with the virus.

Das was in home quarantine since July 24 before he tested positive.

Meanwhile, 12 personnel from the Basistha police station have been detected with COVID-19.

Earlier, 11 personnel including constable, home guard have been infected and five traffic personnel have also been tested positive of the virus.
