In a horrifying incident on Sunday, a mother and father was murdered by the hands of their own son in Barmarai village, Kamalpur.

The accused Deepak Kakati used a stick to beat them to death.

Kakati who fled after the incident was arrested immediately by the Kamalpur police.

The accused is now remorsefully asking to be hanged as punishment.
