Assam Police Jawan from Dergaon Dies By Suicide in Sonari

In a shocking incident, an Assam Police jawan reportedly committed suicide in Charaideo district’s Sonari on Tuesday.

According to sources, the deceased jawan identified as Pulin Chandra Das hailed from Golaghat’s Dergaon.

He reportedly ended his life with his service rifle in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Das was stationed at the Battalion Camp in Sonari’s Kanubari Tea Estate.
