A ferry with over 200 passengers on board have been stranded over the Brahmaputra River in Dhubri district of Assam, reports said on Monday.
As per reports, the ferry was moving from Dhubri towards Hatsingimari's Kukoradanga when the incident occurred this evening.
Reports said that the ferry got stuck due to the reduced water levels of the Brahmaputra river.
The passengers were transported to the shore with the help of a small boat later, sources informed.
