Assam: Coal Laden Truck Seized in Lanka

The Lanka police have seized a coal-laden truck at Islamabad in Lanka on Monday night. Police seized the truck while it was carrying coal illegally from Dima Hasao.

Police seized the truck as it has no valid documents and the truck was overloaded with coal.

However, the truck drivers alleged that the police harassed them although they carried the coal legally by paying tax.
