Themonsoon session of the Assam legislative Assembly has been postponed owing tothe severe flood situation of the state.
Thesession was scheduled to be held from July 18 till July 25. However, now as perthe new dates, the session will be held from July 26.
The decisionwas taken after Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal sat in a meeting withGovernor Jagdish Mukhi.
Subsequently, the decision was made public during a press meet held by the speaker of the legislative assembly, Hitendra Nath Goswami.
