Assam Assembly witnessed an another ruckus today as the members of the ruling BJP and opposition Congress came to blows over education related issues of the state.
In a bid to teach a lesson to some MLAs of Assam legislative assembly, Speaker Hitendra Nath Goswami on Wednesday stood up from his chair and urged everyone to maintain punctuality and discipline during assembly session.
"People elected us to present their problems in this platform. People are eagerly watching our assembly session through Television, they want that their problems would be presented in assembly by local legislators, but we create ruckus here, we shouldn't disappoint them. I am also an MLA, you made me speaker to run the assembly. You can present your problems and ideas without using slang words. There are so many good words to share opinions; you should use those good words instead of bad words. I request you to maintain the assembly's reputation" – Goswami said.
