Leaning on a stick for support, a 103-year-old woman arrived at her assigned polling booth to cast her vote on Tuesday and advised the next generation voters to follow her example.
Clad in a white saree, she exercised her franchise at a LP School under Hajo legislative assembly constituency, saying voting is a "national duty" for her. However, she didn't get anything from government.
In spite of being 103-year-old, she is not listed in Government Pension scheme – she alleged.
