Agartala Bangalore Hamsafar Express derails

Agartala Bangalore Hamsafar  Express loco 13547/13129 , on Tuesday derailed by  two wheels between Churaibari and Kalkalighat's railway station, Assam-Tripura border .

Sources said the incident took place around8.15Am. No causalities were being reported yet. Police investigation isunderway and the cause of derailment is under police investigation.

Senior officials of that division of NortheastFrontier Railways visited the spot with a relief train after receiving news ofthe incident. Sources revealed that Safety and Engineering officers under AGMhave left for site from HQ.

The work for rerailment   and restoration that begun soon after theincident. And for the convenience of the passengers, the train has been takenback to Churaibari and all needs of passengers are being attended to.
