Again Black Flags Waved At Minister Himanta Biswa

Once again black flags have been waved at Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. In protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, the members of All Assam Students' Union and Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) waved black flags at the Minister on Saturday in Dhekiajuli under Sonitpur district.

The incident took place, when the Minister was on his way to Tezpur to take part in the extended executive meeting of Assam BJP. The flag wavers also shouted slogans against the BJP government. The meeting will also be attended by CM Sarbananda Sonowal. Meanwhile, police have detained the flag wavers following the incident.

It should be noted that black flags were waved at Minister Sarma on various occasions and in different part of the State in protest against the Minister's stand on the contentious CAB. Almost all the senior leaders of Assam BJP including CM Sonowal had to face the wrath of public on their way on different occasions.
