Following the election commission's direction for Lok Sabha Contestants to advertise their criminal records in Tv and newspapers at least three times during campaigns, it has come to light that four MPs from Assam have 'Criminal Record'.
As per reports, the AIUDF MP Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, Congress MP Susmita Dev, independent MP Naba Sarania, BJP MP Rajen Gohain names were also listed in the list.
Earlier, the apex court had sought a detailed report of the pending criminal cases against them.
It may be mentioned that political parties too will have to give publicity to the criminal records of candidates fielded by them.
