29 Die of AES in Assam, 190 Infected

After COVID-19, flood now comes the Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) which killed 29 people in Assam while 190 people have been infected.

Amid the ongoing crisis, it is unfortunate that the National Health Mission (NHM) data of AES went missing from their entry list.

According to reports, 29 people died of AES till July 13 while 190 people have been infected but the NHM data of AES does not contain the number of infected persons on July 14.
