The 21st North East Book Fair will start from November 1 to November 12 at the Assam Engineering Institute field at Chandmari.
This year, around 270 stalls will participate in the book fair from 75publishers. Apart from Assam and other states of the country, publishers fromBangladesh will also participate in the book fair.
Publishers from Delhi, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab andother parts have come for the book fair and international publishers like Penguin-RandomHouse India, Mac group Hill Education, Oxford University Press will alsoparticipate in the book fair.
Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the book fair on November 1 in the presence of Chief Guest Sarbananda Sonowal, Governor Jagadish Mukhi.
