Maligaon Flyover to be Inaugurated on August 28: Assam CM

In a major relief for commuters in Guwahati, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday announced that the Maligaon Flyover will be inaugurated on August 28.

He made the announcement during an event at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.

The commuters in Guwahati and the residents of Maligaon and nearby areas have been facing huge traffic congestion since the start of the construction works for the flyover.

Apart from traffic congestion, major accidents also took place due to the construction works.

However, the announcement by the chief minister that the Maligaon flyover will be inaugurated on August 28 is a relief for the commuters as well as residents of Maligaon area.
