Guwahati: Cyber Police Recover Rs 6.45 Lakh from Fraudsters, Return Rs 4.45 Lakh to Victim

In a proactive move, the Cyber PS team of Guwahati Police has successfully recovered Rs 6,45,000 from fraudsters after a resident of Lalmati fell victim to cyber fraud.

The victim, defrauded of Rs 10,80,000 by the Golden Finger Alliance Investment scam, saw Rs 4,45,000 credited back into her account.

Authorities expect more funds to be returned shortly, offering hope to victims of cyber scams.
