Guwahati: Body Found Floating In Pond In Chandrapur

The body of an unidentified individual was recovered at Chandrapur on outskirts of Guwahati city.

Sources informed that the body was discovered floating at Khamrenga Beel. It remains unclear if the individual accidently fell into the pond or foul play was at work. 

The identity of the deceased is yet to be established.

Local police arrived at the scene and recovered the body for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched.
