Guwahati: Assam Assembly Principal Secy's Son Killed In Road Accident

A youth lost his life in a road accident that occurred in Guwahati’s Ghoramara area on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Bhabartha Swarup. He is the son of Hemen Das, the Principal Secretary of the Assam Legislative Assembly.

Sources said that the youth died in a head-on crash with an oncoming vehicle at Ghormara on National Highway 37.

Bhabartha died on the spot, sources informed.

Local police reached the scene soon after and recovered the body for post-mortem.
