A number of fans shared their concerns with Anupam who then took to Twitter to question YouTube about the missing trailer. He posted screenshots of the same as well. He wrote, "Dear @YouTube!!! It should be noted that some Congress leaders even asked the producers for a special screening of the same. However, Anupam Kher reacted strongly to these requests and said that only if Dr Manmohan Singh asks for a screening, he will get it done.

The movie also stars Akshaye Khanna in the role of the media advisor-cum-book writer, Sanjaya Baru. The movie is slated to release on January 11, 2019.
