The trailer of Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar,Tapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi and Kirti Kulhari hasjust hit the web.
The film tells the tale of how made commendableachievements in space with the Mars Orbiter Mission. Jagan Shakti's MissionMangal will bring forth the country's first interplanetary mission.
Beginning with the voice of Akshay Kumar, the 2minute and 52-second trailer shows the determination of a handful of scientists from different backgrounds who battle all odds to launch the Mars Orbiter Mission.
The trailer also ends with Akshay Kumar's voicesaying, "Poori duniya se kaho, copy that!" there is the signature tune of VandeMataram. The Mars Orbiter Mission was launched from the Sriharikota space porton November 5, 2013 and placed itself into the Martian orbit on September 24,2014 on its first attempt.
Akshay Kumar in a tweet earlier revealed that he choseMission Mangal specially for his daughter and children of her age and to familiarizethem with the incredible true story of India's mission to Mars.
The actor had written, "For several years, Hollywoodmade movies and TV shows like Star Trek, Star Wars, Gravity etc. This inspiredan entire generation of inventors, scientists and explorers. I have always wantedto be part of one such movie. A movie that inspires our future generations. Onethat celebrates imagination and curiosity."
The film will hit the theatres on August 15, 2019 andclash with John Abraham's Batla House.
