After a break of almost two years, Hrithik Roshan has returned to the big screen with Vikas Bahl's Super 30.
The film is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who teaches underprivileged kids for free and helps them crack the IIT entrance exam. With an inspiring story and a great cast, Bahl's Super 30 is off to a decent start at the box office.
Bollywood celebrities flooded social media praising Hrithik Roshan for his performance right after the screening of the film in Mumbai. Going by the early reactions, it was likely that Super 30 will do well on the first day of its release. Also, since Hrithik is featuring in a film after a long time, his fans have thronged the theatres to catch a glimpse of their favorite actor on 70 mm.
Super 30 has minted Rs 11.83 crore on its opening day.
Trade analyst Girish Johar earlier told Hindustan Times, "The buzz is very good ever since the launch of the trailer. Quality of content matters a lot these days and Hrithik is coming after two years.
Unlike his earlier films which have action, song, and dance, it is not a commercial mass-entertainer but surely promises quality content."
