Bollywood legend Dilip Kumar has been admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning due to respiratory issues.

The 98-year-old veteran actor is under the care of senior doctors, Cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale and Pulmonologist Dr. Jalil Parkar, at Mumbai's Hinduja hospital.

His health is being constantly monitoring, however, more details on his health are awaited.

ANI's Tweet read, "Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. He was having breathing issues since past few days, says his wife Saira Banu".

The Padma Vibhushan recipient was admitted to the hospital last month his regular health checkup and was discharged after two days on May 3.

As per reports, Dilip Kumar's brothers Ehsan Khan, 90, and Aslam Khan, 88, both COVID-positive, were admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital for treatment, where they died.

Last year the actor stated that he and his wife, actress Saira Banu, were under "complete isolation and quarantine" as a precautionary measure against coronavirus.

In 1966, Kumar married actress Saira Banu, who was 22 years younger than him.

Dilip Kumar was last seen in Qila in 1998. He made his debut in 1944's Jwar Batta.
