Boney rubbishes DGP‘s claims on Sridevi’s demise

A day after former Kerala Director General of Police (Prisons) Rishiraj Singh made a shocking statement regarding Bollywood actress Sridevi's demise; her husband Boney Kapoor on Friday termed the allegations as "stupid stories".

Speaking to a web portal, the producer said, "I don't want to react to such stupid stories. There is no need to react because such stupid stories keep coming." Kapoor further said that such stories are somebody's fragment of imagination.

However,Rishiraj Singh, in a column for the Kerala Kaumudi newspaper, wrote thatSridevi's death 'might not have been due to drowning'. He claimed that theactress' death wasn't an accident but a murder.

Itmay be mentioned here that the actress died on February 24, 2018, due toaccidental drowning in a bathtub in Dubai. Her death left her fans and anentire nation in deep shock.
