Amitabh Bachchan honoured by European Union

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been honoured by the European Union (EU) for strengthening cultural ties between India and Europe.

Amitabh Bachchan thanked EU Ambassador Tomasz Kozlowski for bestowing him with the honour of being a bridge builder between India and Europe.

Kozlowski said that Bachchan's films bring European cinema lovers close to the Indian culture.

Bachchan was accompanied by daughter Shweta Nanda for the award ceremony.
