COVID-19: India’s recovery rate climbs to 62.09%

As on date, the recovery rate of India for COVID-19 stands at 62.09%, the Ministry of Health stated.

The total number of active cases is 269789. Compared to the active cases, the recovered cases stands at 476377, which is 1.75 times of active cases, said the ministry.

Recently, the ministry also cited a World Health Organisation situation report which revealed India has one of the lowest active numbers of cases per million globally. However, India also remains the third worst-hit nation after the US and Brazil.
