India and Seychelles signed six agreements on Monday in several fields including education, cyber security and cultural exchange.
The agreements were signed following delegation-level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of Seychelles, Danny Antoine Rollen Faure in New Delhi.
Both the leaders reviewed the wide-ranging cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of defence and security. The visiting dignitary was given a ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhawan Monday morning.
They discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in all areas, specially capacity building, human resource development and people-to-people contacts.
He also met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj earlier in the day. He will also meet President Ram Nath Kovind, and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu.
