Pakistan: 16 killed as fire engulfs express train

As many as 16 people were killed and more than 30 others sustained serious injuries in a fire that broke out on the Karachi-Rawalpindi Tezgam express train in the Liaqatpur area near Rahim Yar Khan city in Pakistan.

Accordingto reports, the fire broke out due to the explosion of a gas cylinder, whichwas carried by a passenger. The passengers were cooking breakfast when theblast occurred.

It maybe mentioned here that Tezgam is a daily express train service between Karachiand Rawalpindi in Pakistan.
