Last Journey Begins, Modi, Amit Shah on foot

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself led the nation walking by the casket of the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as the entire BJP leadership joined the last journey of the great leader by the foot.

A sea of humanity, greeted the procession as BJP leadership and Union Minsters and BJP national president Amit Shah walked throughout the 15 km distance form BJP's central office to the cremation site by the bank of Yamuna.

The Prime Minister Modi' decision to walk forced all others to join as security agencies had a tough time as never before Prime Minister in Independent India walked for so long.

It was an act of spontaneity as the Prime Minister and other decided to walk instead of using any other transport even as the temperature was quite hot.

This only symbolizes the love and respect the entire BJP fraternity had for the leader.

Never before a Prime Minister of the country joined in any funeral on foot. This scene had moved everyone even as entire Delhi have come out to pay the last respect.
