WPL 2025: Assam's Jintimani Kalita, Uma Chetry Retained

The five teams — Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Giants, and UP Warriorz — retained a host of stars both domestic and international to maintain their core.

Ahead of the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 season, all five teams finalised their retentions, keeping key players in their squads. From Assam, Jintimani Kalita and Uma Chetry were retained by their respective teams.

The five teams — Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Giants, and UP Warriorz — retained a host of stars both domestic and international to maintain their core.

RCB, under Smriti Mandhana, and Mumbai Indians, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, both retained their star-studded line-ups. A total of 71 players, including 25 international cricketers, have been kept, solidifying the core squads for the upcoming tournament.
