Women’s Hockey World Cup : India to face Italy in must-win play-off match

After securing their spot in the knockout stages, India will take on Italy in their must-win play-off match of the Women's Hockey World Cup at London tonight.

The match will start at 10:30 PM (IST). The winner of this match will face Ireland in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

The Indian eves had finished the group stage at the third spot in Pool-B. They drew against England and the United States, but lost to Ireland. Italy had ended second in Group-A, with two wins and a defeat.

The semi-finals of the Women's Hockey World Cup will be played on Saturday, with the Final slated for Sunday.
