Manipur Police Recover Cache of Arms During Search Ops in Hill & Valley Districts

In a proactive move to ensure peace and stability in the fringe and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts, the Manipur Police recently conducted extensive search operations. The operations yielded significant results, uncovering a cache of arms and ammunition.

During the thorough search efforts, the security forces recovered the following items:

01 (one) no. of Carbine with two magazine, 01(one) no. of 9mm Pistol with magazine, 04 (four) nos. of 36 HE grenade live, 50 (fifty) rounds of live ammunitions, 05 (five) PEK sticks of IED weighing approx. 750 grams, 06 (six) nos. of SLR tube launcher, 01 (one) no. of 75 detonator, 08 (eight) nos. of 36 Hand Grenade arming ring, 02 (two) nos. of Ballistic cartridge, 01 (one) no. of Tear shell, 01 (one) no. of C90 MK 3 grenade, 02 (two) nos. of 80grenade MK-1(WP), 01(one) no. of Bicard Strip and 02 (two) nos. of walkie-talkie with one charger from Aimol village and Irengbam Maning, Bishnupur District.

The recovery of such a significant cache underscores the vigilance and determination of the security forces in combating threats to peace and security in the region.
