Earthquake of 5.1 Magnitude Jolts Guwahati, Epicenter in Manipur

The earthquake occurred at around 11.01 pm and tremors were felt across Guwahati.

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake jolted Guwahati on Monday night. As per initial reports, the epicenter of the earthquake was 66 km SSE of Ukhrul in Manipur.

The earthquake occurred at around 11.01 pm and tremors were felt across Guwahati.

According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred at a depth of 20 Km and at 24.40 (latitude) and 94.77 (longitude).

So far, no casualties have been reported as a result of the quake.
