Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday delivered the longest Budget speech ever. She even broke her own record. Later, she paused mid-way and said she was tabling the rest of the speech.

This yearshe delivered her speech for almost two hours and 41 minutes. Last year, herspeech lasted two hours, 17 minutes.

News agency ANI reported that the Finance Minister appeared to be perspiring. She told the house that there were only two more pages. Reportedly, her blood pressure dropped and she was advised to sit.
