Shimla: Another bus falls into gorge, 3 students among 4 dead

In yet another unfortunate incident, a bus fell into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla this morning killing at least four person and leaving several injured.

According to reports, most of the passengers of the bus were school children and among the four dead, three were students.

The accident has taken place near Khalini village in the district.

An official said that it was a Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus and the driver died on the spot. However, the three students succumbed to their injuries while on the way to the hospital.

A rescue operation is underway, said the official.
