Rahul Crosses 10 Million Followers On Twitter

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has now crossed 10 millionfollowers on Twitter and he acknowledged the swell on Wednesday with a thankyou note as he planned for a visit to Amethi.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted "10 Million Twitter followers – thank youto each and every one of you! I will celebrate the milestone in Amethi, where Iwill be meeting our Congress workers & supporters today."

He has changed his Twitter bio from 'President Indian National Congress' to 'Member of the Indian National Congress' on July 3 immediately after the finality of his decision to resign from the post.

 Rahul Gandhi said in hisnote that he was quitting to share accountability for the poor 52-seatperformance of the party in parliamentary elections also hinted that severalother leaders will also have to share the blame.

This will be the first visit of Rahul Gandhi to Amethi after LokSabha Elections.

 It may be mentioned here that his mainpolitical rival Prime Minister Narendra Modi has 48.5 million followers whileAAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has 15.1 millionfollowers.
