PM to address nation from ISRO Control Centre

After Chandrayaan-2's lander Vikram lost contact with ground stations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 8 AM on Saturday from ISRO Control Centre. Following the lost of communication, PM Modi had said that nation is proud of the scientists who have given their best.

In a tweet, Isro said, "Honorable Prime MinisterShri Narendra Modi will address the nation from Isro Control Centre today(September 07, 2019) at 0800 hrs IST."

It may be mentioned here that Vikram lander lostcommunication with ground stations during its final descent. According to ISRO,the descent was planned and normal performance was observed up to an altitudeof 2.1 km.
