PM Modi greets Rahul Gandhi on his 48th Birthday

Congress party workers celebrated the 48th birthday of their party president Rahul Gandhi in a jubilant way at the Congress Headquarters on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, taking to Twitter, extended his greetings to Rahul Gandhi. "Birthday greetings to Congress President Shri @RahulGandhi. I pray for his long and healthy life," he tweeted.

This is Rahul Gandhi's first birthday since becoming the Congress president after taking the reins from his mother in December 2017.

Recently, during a rally, Rahul Gandhi claimed that he would become prime minister if Congress wins the 2019 elections.

The Congress is expected to throw a grand birthday bash for their party president later in the day.
