After India conducted the air strikes across the LoC in the wee hours of Tuesday, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has called an 'emergency meeting'. He will meet Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, where they are likely to discuss the security situation with high-level officials.

Earlier, the air strikes involving several fighter jets of the Indian Air Force (IAF)destroyed camps belonging to Pakistan-based terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The Pakistan Army has also confirmed that the IAF violated the Line of Control (LoC) in Muzafarabad sector.

"Indian aircraft intruded from Muzafarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage," Major General Asif Ghafoor of the Pakistan Army, said in a tweet.

However, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is yet to comment on the issue.
