Non-Subsidized LPG Rates Increased By Rs 60

The common man of this country are on the verge of more suffering from price hike of essential commodities as prices unsubsidized  Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders has been hiked by Rs 60 while the subsidized cylinders have been hiked by Rs 2.94 per cylinder.

The unsubsidized cylinders will now cost Rs 990 and Rs 505.44 with government subsidy per cylinder with effect from Nov 1.

According to an Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) statement, the prices have been hiked this month owing to change in international price and foreign exchange fluctuations.

The actual impact on subsidized domestic LPG customers is only Rs 2.94 per cylinder, which is mainly due to GST on the above, IOC added.
