Narendra Modi holds bilateral meet

The newlyelected Prime Minister Narendra Modi who holds the office for the second termheld bilateral meetings with several foreign leaders, dignitaries andambassadors today after being sworn-in as the PM on Thursday evening.

PM NarendraModi first met Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena at Hyderabad House. Sirisenaattended the swearin-in ceremony of Modi yesterday at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Sirisena congratulatedModi in the bilateral meeting today and reiterated his desire to work togetherto strengthen relations between the two countries for peace, prosperity andsecurity in the region.

Other thanSirisena, Modi is slated to meet for bilateral meet in Delhi are MauritiusPrime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and Prime Minister of Nepal KP SharmaOli. Congratulating Modi, Mauritius Prime Minister Jugnauth reiterated hiscommitment to further strengthening the fraternal and enduring bilateral tiesbetween the two countries in all spheres.
