Pratidin Bureau

In an incident that has a miracle written all over it, a 2-year-old boy remained unscathed even after being run over by a goods train at Ballabgarh station in Faridabad near Delhi.

As reported by the NDTV, the child was pushed onto the tracks by a teenager, believed to be his brother. However, due to sheer luck combined with the timely action of the loco pilot, the child was left unharmed even after getting stuck underneath the engine.

The report quoted the loco driver narrating the incident to railway officials as, "We applied the emergency brake the moment we spotted the boy in the middle of tracks. After the train came to a halt, we stepped out of the train and found him stuck beneath the engine. We later rescued him and handed the boy to his mother."
