MIG-21 Trainer Jet Crashes in Gwalior

A MiG-21 trainer jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near the Gwalior airbase on Wednesday.

According to sources, both the pilots managed to eject safely.Both the pilots, including a Group Captain and a squadron leader, managed toeject safely, as reported by ANI news agency.

Reportssaid that the aircraft was on a routine mission, and crashed around 10 am,sources in the IAF said. The IAF has ordered a court of inquiry to ascertainthe cause of the accident, they said.
